Le Pressoir is a converted, much improved and re-modeled collection of farm buildings, known locally as a ‘Longeur’.
During the past 5 years the present owners have lavished care and attention on what can be best described as an authentic conversion into a 5 bedroomed house, with every modern convenience.
Constructed from local stone, the farmhouse has 5 bedrooms each with a private bathroom, a huge barn with vaulted ceiling which accommodates seating, dining and a full size snooker table.
The kitchen is bespoke and imported from England, which can satisfy the most demanding facilities called upon by any professional chef.
Most of the stone flooring is imported from Italy, with under floor heating almost throughout, meaning that Le Pressoir can be utilised to the fullest extent throughout the year.
As with the rest of the conversion, no expense has been spared with the exterior swimming pool which is heated for those more inclement days.
Location and general regional information
Situated just south of Chateau du Loir,and approximately a 45 minute drive to the famous 24 hours circuit at Le Mans, Le Pressoir is ideally placed within this gently rolling countryside, to experience all that the area has to offer.
The Loire region in general is purported to be where the purest French is spoken. Well known throughout history as the Valley of the Kings, it was for centuries where the Aristocracy came to exercise their love of hunting and fishing.
