Saturday
The courses will start on a Saturday, with an informal meeting between the group members. This will provide a clearer idea of what the next 5 days will consist of.
Sunday
The day will start with a continental breakfast at the communal dining table in the large ‘barn’ lounge. Easels will be set up within the far end of the lounge so that the individuals can introduce themselves and what their specific interests are.
There then follows an exercise in drawing techniques and a description of how to look at subjects to allow for the development of drawing, which is fundamental to the course
Following lunch there will be a demonstration by the tutor to introduce painting as a concept and some of the basics in colour combinations
