How to get to Le Pressoir
The address of the Le Pressoir is Dissay sur Courcillon, 72500 but is in fact nearer to the small village of Villebourg which is halfway between Le Mans and Tours; approx 2 km off the N138 - south of Chateau du Loir and north of Neuilly Pont Pierre. Le Pressoir has two neighbouring houses and is positioned on a small country lane among rolling hills and farms. A beautiful unspoilt area in the 'Garden of France' where you can experience true french life and culture.
By air
Ryanair has daily flights from Stansted to Tours. Tours airport is tiny and completely hassle-free. The usual car hire companies are situated outside the main airport building (turn right out of the airport door). We usually find europecar the cheapest. Top tip : Get one of the party to collect the car keys while the others wait for the luggage. Le Pressoir is approximately 40 minutes from the airport.
By carferry or eurotunnel
Le Pressoir is reachable from Calais car ferry and the Channel Tunnel. It’s autoroute all the way bar the dual-carriage ring road around Rouen. Total tolls are about 28 euros and it takes about 4 1/2 hours (300 miles) Caen and St. Malo have longer crossing times but shorter drive time and you can take the overnight crossing with cabins.
Le Pressoir is strategically located if you are looking for peace and quiet from which to explore the famous chateaux of the Loire.
